About Stefani Scamardo & Hard Head Management:
To say Stefani Scamardo wears multiple hats is an indisputable understatement. She’s the founder of both Evil Teen Records and Hard Head Management, whose roster includes Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes, Cody Jasper and DJ Logic among others. She is the well known host of Sirius XM show, “Jam On With Stefani Scamardo” and oversees acclaimed festivals and special events like Mountain Jam, Christmas Jam, Island Exodus, Mule-O-Ween and more.
Upon graduating from George Washington University, the D.C. native moved to New York City and enrolled in an Audio Engineering class at the New School for Research. After meeting a rep from Island Records, an assistant job at the label eventually morphed into an A&R position. By 1996, she would become manager for the enduring, globally revered group Gov’t Mule and its founder, Grammy Award-winner and guitar legend Warren Haynes—who also happens to be her husband.
Under Scamardo’s guidance, Gov’t Mule solidified itself as one of the most influential blues rock jam bands, developed a robust touring regiment, and showcased its virtuosity over the course of 17 studio and live albums, millions of album and track sales and thousands of performances, recently celebrating their 20th Anniversary. Simultaneously, she has overseen Warren’s impressive balance of Gov’t Mule, The Allman Brothers Band, The Dead, his solo career, and more. She even got behind the board to produce Phil Lesh’s solo offering There and Back Again and managed The Dead’s historic 2009 reunion tour.
Stefani and the Hard Head team are also the driving force behind Evil Teen Records - a well established indie label which boasts original releases from the likes of The Marcus King Band and Cody Jasper, forward thinking forays into electronic music like The United States of Drum and Bass and superstar compilations featuring Dave Grohl, John Scofield, Tedeschi Trucks and more!
Stefani and her team at Hard Head Management currently manage Gov’t Mule, Warren Haynes, DJ Logic and Cody Jasper.
Her management staff includes industry stalwarts Jason Bau, Jason Richardson, Kim Mullings, Jason Duarté and a growing list of business and creative partners.
